The first of five mechanical music sales at Bonhams for 2011 starts
at Knightsbridge at 1 p.m. on the 19th April. Some of the highlights
in this 185-lot sale is a very scarce Hupfeld Pan-Orchestrion model O;
the earliest Réymond Nicole to have appeared anywhere (ser. no. 99);
no fewer than seven singing bird boxes, a very early gilt and serves
panel singing bird in cage; an Autophone by the American Phonograph
Company and lots of boxes in-between.
