Dear MMDers,  I've just received the recently released CD of "Welte
Restored."  If you are unfamiliar with Sir David Salomon you will be
enchanted by the extensive booklet included with the CD.  Further,
you will hear more about him and his scientific pursuits and details
of this Welte restoration just completed in 2006.

The music recorded here is well recorded and represents a variety of
works.  This CD and booklet are a noteworthy addition to the history of
mechanical music and Sir David's contributions to science.  I applaud
the preservation of this interesting instrument and the "liner notes"
provided.  You will enjoy it!
