FS: Early Ampico A Action from 5'4" Knabe
By Douglas Heckrotte

I have a complete, unrestored early Ampico A action (floppy pushrods,
cast escutcheons) out of a 5'4" Knabe baby grand. As an act of youthful
enthusiasm while in high school in about 1964, I built a walnut
cabinet, a 'keyboard', and arranged the action with drawer over stack
over expression components and ended up with an Ampico Vorsetzer. This
was not a roaring success; my ex has the cabinet and I've stored all
the pieces since then. Nothing has been damaged by my efforts (not to
mention mice). Offer a modest sum and come get it in Philadelphia.
