Pierre Eich Music Rolls
By Howard Kohlbrenner

I have seven music rolls of unknown origin. Each roll is approximately
334 mm. wide, and the hole spacing is approximately .187". The first
perforation on each roll is marked with the letter "M" or "W." I'm not
sure which letter it is. The spool ends look like the type Pierre Eich
used. One roll has a Symphonia label with "catalog no. 533" on it.

Looking at various scales in "Treasures of Mechanical Music," I think
the rolls come closest to the Pierre Eich "Violin Piano" scale shown on
p. 164.

If anyone has an interest in these roll please contact me.
