Incandescent Tubular Light Bulbs
By Rich Sitler

In the 110208 MMD Paul Morris was seeking incandescent tubular light
bulbs. Paul, you will want to try 1000Bulbs.com. Look under "Tubular
T6 Picture Exit and Display Light Bulbs" and you will find a variety of
lamps.

There are several different bases. I'm not sure which you're looking
for. There is the standard Edison base, the candelabra (the smallest--
also known as E12), and the intermediate (a.k.a. E17), which is
somewhat larger than the candelabra. We electricians usually call the
candelabra "C7" and the intermediate "C9."

1000Bulbs also carries the antique style lamps with carbon filaments.
While expensive, they do have a really neat look.
