I have recently acquired an 88-note roll called "A-Whizzer One Step
Medley," arranged by Edwin E. Wilson, which is an older recut of an
original Universal roll. The recut does not have a facsimile of the
original roll label, as do some recuts. The title and catalogue number
are simply typewritten on an adhesive label, which has been affixed to
the leader. The catalogue number did not print well; it looks like
302269.
Does anyone have a copy of this roll or indeed an original roll
catalogue that gives its details, to confirm to me the catalogue
number? Also I would be most grateful for information on the
individual song titles in the medley. Of course if anyone is able to
send me a scan of an original roll or box label, that would be great!
I would guess the original roll to have been issued around 1915. Any
help would be much appreciated.
