Black Rope for Stained Glass Panels
By Dick Hack

We stain the old style woven clothesline with black aniline stain
from Behlen and drape it to dry. Behlen stain is available in
liquid from the woodworker supply houses.

I suspect black Kiwi Liquid Shoe Dye will also work; just pull off
the rubber applicator neck on the top to get the liquid out.

This will not work with nylon, polyester, or coated ropes.
