Hi! I list items on eBay almost every day and when I don't know what
category to list on, I just search for a similar item and see what
category it is in. You can get a lot of information for new sellers
on eBay "community" .
A little hint -- when you list an item, to get the most amount of buyers
to see your item, use words like "vintage", antique", "collectible" and
the like on your listing title.
eBay recommends not to use words like "look", "bargain", "clean" etc.
You can use this words in the description of your item.
I also have some musical items for sale, like thousands of player piano
rolls, lots of "Duo-Art" originals and a lot of regular rolls. Before
I list them I like to have an inventory of all the tittles; but now
I am selling mostly Christmas items. If you like you can check my
listings, one of them is a "buyer's choice collectible tree top angel"
I hope this answers some of your questions. Good luck and happy selling!
Good luck again,
Hector Sanchez
