Additional copies of the 'Ching Chong' and 'Brasillian Maple Leaf'
rolls have been received and are now available. Several copies have
already been sold so if you want one, you need to act fast. A big
thank-you is due to Bob Billings for getting these rolls done so
quickly!
The 'Ching Chong' roll is a recut of the Connorized roll with a lyric
sheet included. It is a different arrangement than the QRS roll. This
"noisy" roll, as Robbie calls it, will really test the bellows on your
player piano.
Much has been said about 'Ching Chong'. For most songs, the treble is
the melody and the bass is the harmony. For 'Ching Chong', that is
reversed -- the bass is the melody and the treble is the harmony. This
is true for both the QRS and Connorized versions.
Those of you who have watched Dave Haibach's fine video of 'Brasillian
Maple Leaf' on YouTube or own a copy of the roll yourself are familiar
with the tune. My personal copy is Rollo Etiwanda 0001 dated December
9, 1990, which means the twentieth anniversary of the roll is coming
up soon.
Some have asked about the design of the roll label. The colors on the
label are the colors of the Brazilian flag. The waves are an abstract
version of the flag waving. I made an alternate version of the label
with the actual Brazilian flag. I have never used that label but would
be willing to if someone requested it for their copy.

Leaf' or other rolls, go to

I have updated the availability status of all rolls and will continue
to do so as rolls are sold out or become available again.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
