Cable Ties Around Music Rolls
By Ingmar Krause

As this is a re-occurring thread, I don't want to repeat anything
said. I just wanted to point out that the consensus of the previous
thread on this stated not to put your rubber bands close to any metal
(such as the hook on the roll) as there is chemical interaction
between the rubber and the metal, deteriorating the rubber faster.

If you don't like rubber nor Velcro, and as someone mentioned cables
and wires, how about this: you can get packages of cable ties ["zip
ties"] for very cheap! They adjust to all circumferences and, just
like the Velcro, they can be either loose or tightened if desired.
They're just a bitch to get off! :-D (If you know how they "work",
a small flat screwdriver always at hand will do the trick, though.)

So... that should nail that coffin, no? :-)

Musically,
I. Krause
