Price Paid for Piano Roll
By Lee Rothrock

David Dewey asks why the price paid was so high for a roll that sold
for a fancy price on eBay. It's because it was up for auction, and
two guys who both really -- Rilly, Rilly, Rilly! -- wanted it were up
against each other!

If you look at the bid history, the others dropped out at around 35
bucks. This is not atypical auction behaviour, but it doesn't mean
that if you have a copy of that roll, it will get such a price.

But I'd like to see what a copy of "It Takes a Long Tall Brown-Skin
Gal To Make a Preacher Lay His Bible Down" might fetch!
