Rubber Bands Around Music Rolls

The instruction sheet pasted inside the Celestina organettes from
the 1880s begins, "Remove the rubber band on music spool..."

So it would appear that the Aeolian Company (or at least their
predecessors, the Mechanical Orguinette Company) actually did use
rubber bands on their music rolls.
