Wow, Dave, thank you for your glowing recommendation of the Connorized
"Ching Chong" roll. I'm glad that you like it. Several people have
written to me requesting a copy of the roll. Good news -- I have
placed a re-order for more copies of this roll. And yes, it does come
with a lyric sheet. For the record, I have both the Connorized and
the QRS versions of the song, plus I have an original copy of the 1917
sheet music.
Dave also mentioned the "Brasillian Maple Leaf" roll in his post.
After his comments were published, I received a flurry of orders for
this roll. My on-hand stock is now sold out but more copies have been
ordered. I'm still accepting orders, but you will have to wait until
I receive the new batch of recuts before I can ship your order.
"Brasillian Maple Leaf" has been a popular roll. I played it in the
pumper contest at the AMICA convention in Sacramento. At this past
summer's AMICA convention in Buffalo, New York, Robbie Rhodes played
his "Brasillian Maple Leaf" roll while I accompanied him on tambourine
and maracas.
A big thank you to those who have ordered or pre-ordered either of
these rolls. Also, thank you to everyone who has written in to MMD
about the rolls.
