Splitting Open the Duo-Art Expression Box
By Terry Smythe

At the 1979 AMICA Convention in Philadelphia, John Grant gave a
workshop, "Parting Is Such Sweet Triumph (The No-Tears, No-Sweat, Four
Second Method For Splitting the Duo-Art Expression Box)".

I was there and witnessed John splitting a Duo-Art expression box,
clean as a whistle. It was quite amazing. Subsequently, he wrote a
technical article about the process, which was published in the
December 1979 issue of the AMICA Bulletin.

You can download that issue off AMICA's website, or you can also find
it in the CD "AMICA Technicalities," mailed with an issue of our AMICA
Bulletin a couple years ago.
