A Strange Duck, the Orchescello
By Erik Baron

The instrument "Orchescello" as mentioned in the 101007 MMD, is
actually a Choralcelo. I found a larger picture of the instrument when
I copied the smaller image's URL into my browser. I hit ENTER, and it
came up with a larger image, where I could read the fallboard decal.

Here is the link I used:
http://www.ruthmere.org/images/Collection_HIGHLIGHTS/Choralcelo.jpg

This is an interesting instrument indeed. I wonder how it sounds or
whether someone has a recording of a surviving example?
