Market Value of Mechanical Music Instruments
By David Dewey

I have to agree, sadly, that the electronic piano cuts down on tunings,
but -- too many parents have purchased a "junker" piano for their kid
to learn on, planning to upgrade if the child takes to piano playing.
Well, even a good pianist doesn't want to play on a junker, why would
a potential new pianist become interested when given a junk piano to
learn on? So, there would be a good use of the digital piano. Maybe
it will bring more folks into playing the piano?
