In reading the offer for the free Chickering Ampico, I am wondering
what has happened to the market value of our instruments: pianos,
music boxes, orchestrions, etc.
Is it this dreadful economy, or is it a combination of that, plus the
fact that the generation that valued these wonderful instruments is
slowly leaving this world? I suspect it's a little of both. It would
be interesting to hear from other members on this subject.
Another question is, how do we get the next generation of young people
interested in Mechanical Music?
