Historic Sutter Creek, in California's Gold Country, in cooperation
with AMICA, will once again host a Musical Organ Rally, Saturday and
Sunday, Oct. 9 and 10, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the town's
Main Street. Admission is free.
The musical organs, varying in size from a monkey grinder's musical
organ to several majestic instruments, will "play" music from dance
tunes and marches to carousel and classical music.
Sutter Creek lies in an area rich in history and beautiful scenery,
with lots to see and do. The organ rally will be downtown, a wonderful
venue for a rally. Several hotels are in the area -- for information
about hotels and regional activities call Sutter Creek Visitors Center
at 1-209-267-1344 or visit http://www.suttercreek.org/

It's just a lot of fun, and the organs will sound super out in the
open with lots of room. It's in Northern California, and you can spend
a week or so just traveling around the area and the gold country.
