MIDI System for Upright Piano
By Pete McFall

[ Ref. John Bartlett in 100910 MMDigest ]

John, I am in the process of doing just what you want to do. I am
using Artisan boards for the MIDI driver from a computer and a small
key lock solenoid fitted with a leather valve face to "Y" off of the
tracker bar. I plan on making a board to go between the tracker bar
lead tubing and mounting the solenoids to that. This would raise the
roll frame and motor about 3/4-inch. I got the idea from another
reader of the MMDigest.
