Seek MIDI System for Upright Piano
By John Bartlett

Hello all, I'd like to install a MIDI controller to an upright
piano and I wonder what others have done. I want to play MIDI files
of 88-note rolls and "A" roll music. Later I might add a second
instrument, such as a xylophone or possibly flute and/or violin pipes.

I know of the Pianocorder and PianoDisc and Pianomation systems,
but has anyone done this as a personal project, perhaps on a smaller
budget? What is available for solenoids to push on the back of the
keys after slotting the keybed? What about the software required?

Thanks,
John Bartlett
