Restorer/arranger Stephen Kent Goodman has arranged five of his own
ragtime and march numbers, plus five rags from the original ragtime era
which were never issued on paper roll for a style "G" orchestrion roll.

"This is a very important and historic roll.  It features both my
own contemporary ragtime as well as rags from the 1900-1918 era, many
of which cannot be found on any type of paper roll," Stephen is quoted
to say.

The roll is arranged in the spirit of the Automatic Music Roll
Company's 900 series "G" rolls, which had elements of both a 4X roll
(to show off single-strike xylophone) as well as sustained notes to
properly operate reiterating xylophones and pipes of such instruments
that used them.

In short, all Nelson-Wiggens, Seeburg KT's and KT Specials, E Specials,
Western Electric style "G" and "O" and of course, Seeburg style "G"'s
and early "L"'s will show off this roll's capabilities.
