I, too, can relate to the Kennywood Wurlitzer 153. I first got
interested in this great hobby at age five back in 1990. I was
wondering how that big music box was playing. Every time I came
around past the organ I remember trying to look through the swell
shades to the guts of the organ. I was hooked since then!
Now, 20 years later, I can call myself an owner of the 153 -- I just
bought the old Deansboro Music Museum's 153 off of John Pohlpeter.
So I hope to rest assure some folks out there that the younger crowd
are interested in these old treasures!
