Lubricating Welte Rotary Wind Motor
By Skip Downing

Anybody know if the shaft of the Welte 3-pneumatic rotary wind motor
is lubricated? On one end is the brass-on-brass rotary sliding valve
which I know should not be lubricated, but at the other end, where the
pneumatics connect to the shaft by connecting rods, the steel rod goes
through a brass bearing plate. Lubrication seems likely, but debatable.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
