Organ Rally in Sandusky, Ohio, 17-18 July 2010
By David Jones
Last Saturday I went to my first organ rally, in Sandusky, Ohio.
It was a lot of fun to meet all the folks and see all the fine work.
I more than highly recommend it!
What was great for me was to see everything from John Smith 20-note
hand-cranked busker organs to everything in-between up to the "Diamond
Jubilee". There was a Dutch-built street organ and many Wurlitzer band
organs. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
One thing I think that must make this rally special is the fact you get
to also attend the Merry Go Round Museum with it's lovely collection of
carousel animals and fully functioning carousel.
