I want to inform you that I am developing a new label of piano rolls,
"Manualo Music Rolls", that include new contemporary latin and hispanic
pop music of the 1970s, '80s and '90s 'til today.
I live in Mexico City and I met Fernando Diaz Lodoza in the 1970s when
I was a kid. He was always a nice man, and very talented. His machine
was an Acme perforating machine and Ramsi Tick bought it from his widow
in the beginning of the 1980s.
But it is important to say that the founders of the Rollos Mexico
factory in Mexico City were the Coria Brothers (they were from Spain),
at the end of the first decade of the 20th century and the beginning
of the 1920's decade.
At the end of the 1920s one of the Coria brothers, J. Coria, bought
from the other his share of the company, and he owned the company until
the end of the 1930s when he sold the company to Mr. Diaz Lodoza (who
was an employee of Rollos Mexico) who had the company until his death
in the beginning of the 1980s.
