Repairing an Aeolian Grand Player Organ

Are you sure it is a Grand? "Grand" is a model. They were [offered
in] different cases that one could order for it, or even have custom
made. Usually on the inside of the case is a paper label with the
model. On the much smaller machines it is underneath.
As for the date on the larger models, it is either pencil written or
ink stamped on one of the reed ranks. I promise it is there but you
really have to look for it.
As for a spool box that, is the hardest item to replace. Unless
someone is "parting out" one for some reason, it is going to be really
hard to find.
I love Aeolians but I believe I've read this somewhere: "If you think
you have removed all the screws from an Aeolian to take out a part,
look for more screws!"
