Hi All, My niece grew up with a player piano in her house (her
family's, not mine -- amazing how folks with similar interests
meet) and now that she and her husband have a home, she would like
to have a player too! Not one that uses floppy disks but a good
ol' fashioned roll-playing player piano.
Now, neither of them have the time nor inclination to rebuild one --
they need a reasonably priced, good-working player. I told her
I would look around. They aren't in a big hurry either. I have
corrected some information she got from her side of the family (like
"$400 will get you a good working piano")!
For some reason, she never thought about her Uncle David when she
started looking; she chased down folks that had her family's piano.
She feels very chagrined about that.
So, hoping I can help her out, I turn to y'all! Thanks!
David Dewey
