Hello, The piano I have here rewinds quite fast and so I am not able
to get the repeat to work reliably all the time. Although the repeat
is pretty snappy, a large roll may sometimes still manage to get
unhooked before the gear-change is complete. In fact, it rewinds so
fast that I had to temporarily reconnect the reroll brake to try to
slow it down.
The manifold pressure during reroll is 19.5", which is the same as
normal spill pressure. My guess is that someone made it faster by
enlarging the hole in the regulator when it was all leaky and sluggish.
Apart from opening the regulator and making the internal rewind hole
smaller, is there another way to slow down the reroll speed?
Kind regards,
