Seek Wurlitzer 146-B Facade Attachment Details
By Rob Goodale
I have a late model Wurlitzer 146-B currently in process of a complete
restoration. I require some information and/or pictures regarding how
the façade and wings are attached to the organ. The wings extend from
behind the main center section requiring wood spacers between the organ
and the façade to make this possible.
The spacers that were present with the organ in unrestored condition
consisted of planks of crude poplar spray painted in a lovely shade
of silver and then screwed to the organ! I need to know what was
originally there and some reasonable quality pictures if possible.
If anyone can provide this please contact me directly at

Thank you for your help.
