A Simple Monkey Automaton
By Robert K. Wilson

I had my monkey made in 2002 by the company, "The Midsummer Knights
Dream", which is located in Ocala, Florida. Their products are
featured at http://www.Fantasypuppet.com/ I had it made to my
specifications. It is covered with squirrel fur. The head moves
back and forth and up and down, so you can make it follow patrons as
they go by and it looks them over.

I have attached crepe paper on the openings on the pipes to give
a little action to the Pell organ. A few of my fellow organ grinders
here in the Northwest have added this feature to their organs as it
really attracts attention to the activity of the pipes.
