Wurlitzer Photoplayer in Missouri
By Gregory Filardo

I have a Wurlitzer Photoplayer, Style O, located here in St. Joseph,
Missouri. It is completely restored and refinished to new condition.
There was one just like it in the Electric Theatre in the 1920s.

I also have a large library of original rolls that came with a
different photoplayer in Illinois. In that case only the piano/player
unit survived with the side cabinets. That piano was sold at auction
in Iowa as it had belonged to Stan Peters. Mine was purchased from
a Mr. Howe in Texas, I'm not sure where it came from before that.
