Seek Contract With Music Roll Copying Firm
By Duaine Hechler

I am thinking of starting a reselling program of rare rolls and some
of my customer requested rolls, so I'm looking to make an exclusive
contract for a high quality scanner/recutter to make rolls for me to
resell.

My plan is to let the contract winner borrow the rolls to scan, recut
in small quantities (5 to 10) and ship the borrowed and recut rolls
back to me.

[ I'd guess a complete system for copying music rolls is worth at
[ least twenty thousand dollars. How many rolls must be sold each
[ year in order to provide a reasonable return on the investment?
