[ I asked John for more information about the organ installation.

Robbie, the Wangerin player organ will be installed in the music
room of a large home. The room is two stories high, and the pipes will
be in a chamber on the upper level. The original organ has two manuals
and pedal playing three unit ranks at various pitches. The original
specification had a stopped flute at 16', a string at 8', and a Vox
Humana 8'. At some point the Vox Humana was replaced with a Diapason.
The owner only has about a dozen rolls. The player system was designed
by Edmund Verlinden when he was at Wangerin. The owner wants to be
able to play a much wider variety of music.
Peterson makes several versions of MIDI resource systems. All of them
allow record/playback with a sequencer, and standard MIDI files can be
played through the system. Registration function can be automatic or
manual, since organs seldom have identical stops available.

[ The questions for MMDer's: If you were installing this 3-rank pipe
[ organ in your own home, what style of ready-to-play music would you
