Hi MMD, As many of you know I restore old piano rolls and sell them
on eBay and have been doing so for many years. I specialize in taking
whole collections of piano rolls that many would consider not worth
restoring, let alone selling.
These rolls are gone through from beginning to end on the piano roll
repair table and every flaw is repaired -- pull tabs, leaders, flanges
-- and any other defect is repaired or replaced. Where necessary new
authentic labels are made and, when a box is beyond repair, a new box
is supplied.
What I'm in need of right now are larger collections of Duo-Art rolls
that someone feels are beyond repair, or rolls that you want to get rid
of without the trouble of putting them on eBay. I obviously can't pay
the retail prices that you see on eBay. But if anyone has collections
of this type let me know and we can discuss a price per roll and I will
pay Media Mail shipping cost.
Unfortunately I have no interest in 88-note rolls as at best they
bring only two to three dollars on eBay, thus I'm simply giving away my
labor and supplies to restore them. Let me know if you have something
I might be able to use.
Thanks, Tom Hutchinson
