There was recently an ad selling an untouched Ampico A Knabe in
a Louis XVI art-case, recommending that the piano was an excellent
candidate for installing the LX reproducing system.

I was offended by this, as a purist and preservationist, and would
much rather see "This piano is an excellent candidate for restoration
and possibly adding the LX reproducing system."  (I would personally
love to have an art-case Knabe Ampico in my collection if I had the
room for another piano!)
