Rachmaninoff Re-created By Stahnke SE Mechanism
By Wayne Stahnke

Regarding Philip Jamison's recent posting (MMD, February 5, 2020)
about Zenph's recreations of several of Rachmaninoff's recordings:
the player piano that was used was not a Disklavier. It was
a Steinway D-SE, that is, a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano
custom fitted with an SE mechanism. The mechanism was built and
installed by my colleague, Richard Shepherd.
