For sale: I have a PianoDisc PDS128 player system that I just removed
from a customer's piano. They say it was in working condition when
last used several years ago. There was no recording strip in this
system, no remote control, and there may be a cable missing that
connects the cassette console to the player. These parts can be
located on the Internet.
Lots of music floppy discs are included. The paper work shows it
was installed in 1989, which was the first year of operations for
PianoDisc.
If you can't install it in a piano yourself, there are many PianoDisc
technicians around; find one who's been installing them for many years
they'll be familiar with this early model. It's also possible to
convert it to a Vorsetzer (a cabinet player that isn't installed in the
piano, but rolls up to play it when wanted). Information about how
this can be done can be found in the MMD Archives.
Selling for $500 as-is (no guarantee) or best offer; buyer to pay
shipping or pick it up in Petaluma, California. Contact me at
