Books on Rebuilding a Player Piano & Piano
By Mark Greisen

[ Ray Finch wrote in 100103 MMDigest: "Can any one recommend a resource
[ ... that would give me a good overall understanding of how to ...
 [ adjust a piano action?"

Ray, the only other book I've come across besides Reblitz' book is
the book by Larry Givens, "Rebuilding the Player Piano". Search for
it on-line. I've never read the book because after the read Reblitz'
book I rebuilt hundreds of pianos and never needed anything else.

I recently spoke to someone at Player Piano Co. and was assured that
they are still selling the things listed in their catalog. Jack
doesn't work there anymore. I recently found out they have a web site,
check it out: http://www.playerpianocompany.com/player.html

Harmonically yours,
Mark Greisen
