There are several references in both Presto-Monthly and Music Trades
Review to an exclusive recording contract between United States Music
Co. and Axel Christensen, and to a series of instructional rolls
Christensen recorded for US Music. US Music apparently sent Christensen
on an extensive tour to promote the rolls he'd recorded. (Christensen
had earlier made hand-played rolls for QRS.)
I'm intrigued by this series of instructional rolls. Has anyone run
across any of them, or the set? Does anyone know much of anything
about them, such as how many there were, their content, etc.?
