Art Tatum Performances on Piano Rolls
By George Karpel

This is in response to Jack Daniel's question as to whether any
arranger has made player piano rolls of Art Tatum's performances.
Well, a quick check of my Q.R.S. roll catalog shows that J. Lawrence
Cook arranged two rolls in the style of Art Tatum. These rolls were
roll no. 9530, "Stompin' at the Savoy", and roll no. 7960 "Sweet
Lorraine". They were listed in my QRS roll catalog of 1980.

I don't have a more current edition of the catalog so I'm not sure
if these two rolls are still available. You might check on the
Internet to see if there is a more current roll catalog. Good luck.
