I purchased a repeating snare drum beater from Player Piano Company
(PPCo) many years ago. The part number is 918, and it cost $39.00 at
the time. A bargain, considering time and materials! You could call
Player Piano Parts, Inc., which now sells PPCo's remaining stock, and
see if they still have any available. The catalog from 1994-1995
describes it as a "repeating beater for snare drum." I think their
phone number is still the same (someone please correct me if I’m
wrong): 316-263-3241.
If you want plans to build one yourself, the best book I could
recommend is "The Orchestrion Builder’s Manual," by Craig Brougher. I
don’t know whether it is still in print; but it should be available
used on Amazon.com. It has an entire chapter on building percussion
devices, including regulating the reiterating pneumatic.

[ I was recently loaned a blueprint for building a Wurlitzer snare
[ drum beater action, which I believe was one of the Vestal Press
[ series of reprints. Also Belgian organ builder Johnny Verbeeck can
[ build a replica Wurlitzer snare drum action or anything else you
[ might want.
