Welte Orchestrion at Cliff House, San Francisco
By Robbie Rhodes

After reading about the Cliff House Project, which researches and
preserves the visual imagery of Adolph Sutro's Victorian "Cliff House"
in San Francisco, MMDer Fred Dahlinger contributed some old photos of
the huge Welte orchestrion that was installed in the Cliff House in
1905. The Welte photos sparked a wave of new discussion because some
photo images seem to be reversed left-to-right. So which images are
correct? See http://www.cliffhouseproject.com/interiors.htm#new

Hint: In the Welte orchestrion illustrations I've seen in books, the
small drum is visible to the left of the music roll.
