My name is Herb Lindahl and I am a player technician from Connecticut.
A client has an upright Fischer Ampico, no. 155203, built in 1927,
that she would like to part with as soon as possible. It was restored
in the 1970's by Alan Pier from Massachusetts. The piano was inspected
by Bill Edgerton, who lives in that area, and he seems to think that
with several hours of service it could made to work again. The
strings, hammers, and dampers are all original. The piano has
excellent original ivories.
My client needs to move the piano out soon, as they are doing remodeling
work. As it was stated to me, she needs it to go to a good home. Her
name is Lynn Nestler and her email is lynnsnestler@gmail.com.geentroep
[delete ".geentroep" to reply]. She also has a roll cabinet that is
full of rolls, with about twenty of the being Ampico titles. The piano
is located in Rowayton, Connecticut.
