Artecho Information Needed
By Jason Balcom

I have recently acquired an upright Heintzman & Co. Artecho reproducing
piano. The spoolbox switches appear to have been replaced at some
point, and I am unsure what is original and what isn't. Both the
Artecho and Ampico were made by Amphion; so replacement switches are
not a problem.

However, the modulator switch on this piano has only two settings:
Normal, and Soft, as opposed to the Ampico modulator switch which has
three settings. Is this a completely different switch? I would love
to hear from fellow upright Artecho owners on this issue.

Sadly, this piano came with eighty rolls, none of which are
Artecho/Apollo. Does anyone have any rolls for sale?

I am also looking for the spreadsheet schematic for the Artecho
upright, if anyone has a copy or knows where to order it. It was PPCo.
No. C-14.
