Smelly Hide Glue
By Bruce Mercer

[ Ref 090921 MMD, 283 Gram Hide Glue
[ "... the smell is not as bad as the typical glue ..."

I solved this problem many years ago. This trick was passed on to
me from an old timer that worked at Karges furniture factory here in
Evansville, Indiana. They are still in business making high end hand
made furniture, although the type of glue may have changed in all these
years.

The trick is to simply put four of five whole cloves into the glue pot.
There is still a smell but more like a holiday ham cooking. I guess we
can thank the Egyptians for this method of preservation.
