Wurlitzer 125 Organ at Gage Park, Topeka, Kansas
By Mike Schoeppner

The Wurlitzer 125 Organ has returned to the Herschell-Spillman Carousel
in Gage Park, Topeka, Kansas, after a lengthy and thorough rebuilding
and restoration by Damian Mayes. (The organ began life in 1907 as a
DeKleist 155.)

I heard the organ playing right after re-installation Wednesday, and
I must say it has never sounded better. In my opinion, it is one of
the best 125's I have ever heard. I am sending a photo separately for
the MMD Archives.

Mike Schoeppner

[ Thanks, Mike, I'll put the photo at the MMD Pictures site,
