Our policy on buy and sell announcements is below. Note that the
announcement will be edited and the service is one time only.

I don't either! ;-)
For Sale Announcements in MMDigest
I will be happy to publish your message in Mechanical Music Digest,
at no cost to you, for one time only, sorry no pictures, but I must
receive your authorization to publish publicly *to the whole world*
your name and email address and any other contact information you
wish to provide.
If it's okay that your name and email address is published in our
public newsletter forum, then you may send your email to me at
Robbie Rhodes - MMD Editor <editor-0901@mmdigest.com>
and I will edit the message and publish it in the next issue of MMDigest.
It will be transmitted to our 2200+ subscribers around the world and
a few days later it will also be published at our public web site at
http://www.mmdigest.com/Archives where *it will remain forever*, just
like a newspaper article. So it's possible that several years from now
you might receive inquiries.
It's also possible that your name and email address will be harvested
by a "spam robot" from the computer of someone who writes an email to
you; that's a well-known hazard nowadays.
If you are offering articles for sale your notice will be published as
a "for sale" announcement. Please tell your full name and how buyers
can contact you for more information, and where the articles will be
shipped from so that the buyer can estimate the cost of transportation.
State whether the seller will provide crating for shipment or if this
will be the buyer's responsibility.
If the item is a player piano or musical box please give the serial
number, the make, the size, the general condition (is it complete?),
in what year the instrument was last restored, and what accessories
(e.g., discs, piano rolls, bench) are included.
You can read examples of FS: (for sale) announcements indexed by
subject at http://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/KWIC/F/fs.html
