Elise has been released from the Eureka Springs hospital and is
recovering in a suite at the Crescent Hotel.  Because she is unable
to go up the stairs to her apartment, she will be staying in the
suite until her arm is strong enough to use the handrail.

The burns on her back are healing nicely and are almost completely
covered with new skin.  Her shoulder continues heal but is still very
painful.  She is doing her physical therapy everyday to try to gain
back the use of that joint.  It will take about six months of PT for
this to happen.  She has begun to do some of the accounting that she
did for the non-profits in Eureka Springs that she is involved with
so she is trying to get back to a more normal life.

Marty was buried in a beautiful ceremony last Saturday, July 11th,
and we will be holding a public memorial to celebrate his life on
Sunday, July 26th, at 3 P.M. at the Crescent Hotel.

Please keep Elise in your thoughts and prayers and, three months
from now, if you think of her, drop her a card or email to encourage
