For sale:  Mermod Freres Sublime Harmony Piccolo Quator Interchangeable
Music Box.  This is the largest interchangeable music box manufactured
by Mermod Freres.  Cylinders are 24-1/2" X 3-1/2".  Four cylinders in
perfect condition.  Combs are all original, no replaced teeth or tips.
Mechanical movement in perfect condition as is mahogany case with
extensive detailed carving on front of case.

I am the second owner of this musical box.  Previous owner was
well-known political figure.  Have documentation and provenance and
original bill from Jacot & Company.  This is one of eight examples
known and in remarkable state of preservation.  Other examples include
two in Texas, two in California, one in New Hampshire, one in Arkansas,
the example in the Murtogh Guinness Collection in New Jersey and the
present example.  This music box is priced to sell below retail price.
