"Nutcracker" Excerpts, Played by Percy Grainger
By Robbie Rhodes

Albert Petrak writes that he received an email asking for
information about Duo-Art roll #6798, Tchaikovsky: "Nutcracker"
Excerpts, played by Percy Grainger.

Albert says: "The sender wants to know if anyone knows the source of
the score. I told him it was probably the standard piano
transcription, but he wants to know if is Percy's own version."

Does a Percy Grainger admiration society exist, or a resource center,
that might have the requested information?

Robbie Rhodes (away at a jazz festival)
